Origin: The site was originally a concept developed between Leanna and Marissa, who decided to make a music video award site for The O.C. vids only. Right before the opening of the site, they decided to change it to add Veronica Mars per Leanna's request. After the first round Marissa had to resign from her co-webbie duty because of time issues.

Then Leanna found two new vidders, Dana Marie and Christy, who are now the current co-judges at the SUAwards.

Why name it "Sweetly Undeniable Awards"? Well truthfully, it was originated from the combining of Leanna and Marissa's personal music videos sites Leanna's "The Sweetest Love" (aka Graceful Illusions) and Marissa's "It's Undeniable".
